Cloud, On-Prem, Hybrid | Creative Team Workflows

In this episode of Broadcast2Post, we speak with our favorite shared storage guru Steve Mckenna (Studio Network Solutions), discussing how to determine when and where cloud, on-prem, and hybrid workflows work best for post production teams. 

We’re seeing post house businesses dying as they fail to compete with competitors that allow editors to work from home- via cloud or hybrid solutions. The flip side- we’ve also seen post houses that went all-in too quickly with cloud now receiving that very expensive monthly bill wishing they went another direction. We’re going to try to find that magic formula, balancing on-prem, hybrid, and cloud workflow solutions that fit the demand of editors and the company budget.
